Septemer 20th, 2008At 8:03 this morning, Mikayla Jayne Cook introduced herself...in somewhat of a hurry.
Weighing in at 3lbs even, and about 16 3/4in long, our little girl fought her way here through the wee hours of the morning to an audience of her Daddy, Memaw, and Grammy leaving not a dry eye in the room.
She is about 8 weeks premature, but is absolutely beautiful and doing well! She will be residing in the Special Care Unit here at Lexington Medical Center for a little while, but the amazing ladies of the nursing staff are doing everything in their power to make life easier for all of us.
